Listen Up! Clam Up! Calm Down!
The primary take away from James 1:19 is: Listen more, talk less, and settle down. This exhortation, of course, applies to how we are to interact with those around us. But before we go plucking verse 19 out of Chapter 1 and making it stand alone, let’s consider everything that’s going on around it because there is more to this verse that we often miss.
