A Good Shepherd
As the Oldham Lane congregation begins the process of appointing new shepherds, Chris brings a lesson on what a godly shepherd should look like. One of the first questions that should be asked of any prospective elder is this: “Does he “walk by the Spirit?” If he doesn’t, then he’s not qualified. Doesn’t matter if he meets the qualifications as spelled out in scripture. First and foremost, he must be a man who is Spirit-filled and Spirit-led.
