Most of us are like umpires. We like to call balls and strikes on somebody else. We love pointing out when we’re right and someone else is wrong; that’s a satisfaction like no other. What a special feeling when we’ve had an argument with someone and the truth lands on our side. Our pride and ego reach new heights when we hear the other person say, “You’re right. I was wrong.” But for some reason we don’t much like it when the tables are flipped. We’re not big on having people call balls and strikes on us.
